Tulsi Kapoor is often referred 10 as Holy Basil and is considered a sacred herb in India. This basil is commonly used throughout Southeast Asia. This very fragrant herb has 1½" fuzzy green leaves with purple stems. Spikes of lavender/purple flowes rise above the plants and attract bees to the area. The anise scented leaves can be used fresh or dried. Steep the leaves and make a delicious calming tea with a spicy clove, fruity, anise like aroma. The pleasantly scented leaves can also be used in potpourri.
