Rosemary Spice Island is an easy to grow beautiful shrubby herb with grey-green needle like foliage and edible pale lavender-blue flowers. It is intensely fragrant, and the flavor is deep and pungent. The rosemary sprigs can be used fresh or dried in meat dishes, soups, and stews and to flavor oils and vinegars. It is also a great ornamental plant; the tall erect stems have a striking appearance in the garden. It is recommended to harvest stems with clippers ensuring a clean cut and avoiding damage to the plant. Plant in full sun in average well drained soil.
