This easy-to-grow mixture of small colorful gourds are perfect for autumn decorating. It has an interesting mix of shapes and colors that form and grow during the summer and ripen in autumn. Plant away from other squash varieties, to avoid cross-pollination that could make zucchini, pumpkins, and other squash become inedible. For best results fertilize spring through early summer to boost growth and flower development. Early September when they are well colored, harvest and place them in a single layer in crates or boxes and store them in a ventilated place. Once dry, they can be used as an autumn decoration.
