This beautiful early maturing dark green watermelon has broken lighter green stripes and bright red crispy flesh. Uniformly shaped melons average 20-24 pounds and are produced on vigorous spreading vines. The red flesh has small seeds and seed pockets and is delicious and refreshing in hot summer weather. The large leafed vine protects the fruit even under poor growing conditions. The firm flesh has excellent flavor is great eaten fresh or added to fruit salads. Plant in mounds allowing 12-18" between plants.
