It's not the flavor but the color that gives this watermelon its name. This oval 16-18 pound has a light green rind with mottled green stripes and flesh that can vary in color from vibrant yellow to subtle gold. Delicious with a high sugar level that makes it a very sweet and flavortul melon; the firm flesh is sweeter than most other melons. The crisp and juicy texture is refreshing on a hot summer day and it is great eaten fresh or used to make smoothies or popsicles. Vigorous healthy vines produce high yields. Disease resistance to Fusarium Wilt, Anthracnose and Powdery Mildew.
